About The Facility
Surabaya is the capital of the East Java province, a vibrant port city situated on the northeastern coast of the Indonesian island of Java. This location is isolated from potential seismic movements in Sumatra as it is positioned on a tectonic plate that is separated from the Sumatran Subduction Trench.
As Indonesia’s second-largest metropolis, Surabaya is an important secondary regional capital to Jakarta and is a key alternate location that supports the capacity needs of the eastern part of the country. PDG’s data center in Surabaya serves many hyperscalers and enterprises from numerous industries ranging from trade to finance. Its proximity to both an airport and a seaport makes it a convenient site for clients travelling in and out of the city.
